The Collective Healing Center is an out-of-network practice
We do not bill insurance companies directly. Payment is due at the time of session. While we are not in-network with insurance providers, many plans offer out-of-network benefits that may cover a portion of our services.
Fees and Insurance Reimbursement
Insurance Reimbursement
To determine your coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance provider. You might ask:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health?
- What is my out-of-network deductible?
- What is the reimbursement rate for CPT codes like 90834 or 90847?
Monthly Superbills
We provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many clients use apps like Reimbursify or Mentaya to simplify this process. Please note that reimbursement depends on your specific plan.
Session Fees and Payment
The Collective Healing Center is a private pay practice. For your convenience, we collect payment at the time of each session. We maintain a secure billing system and accept all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.
Session fees vary based on each clinician’s credentials, advanced training, specialization, and experience. Specific rates will be reviewed during the consultation process before an appointment is scheduled.
- Individual Therapy Session (45-50 minutes): Range $150-$200
- Family Therapy Session (45-50 minutes): Range $150-$200
- Reunification Therapy Session (45-50 minutes): Range $200-$350
- Clinical Summary Report: Range $300-$500
- Comprehensive Assessment Report: Range $600-$1,050
We are deeply committed to making mental health support accessible. To honor this commitment, each of our clinicians maintains a portion of their practice for sliding scale fees. Additionally, we offer a reduced rate through our internship program. Please reach out to us to discuss availability and how we can best support your needs.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, individuals who are uninsured or who choose not to use their health insurance have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate explaining the anticipated cost of their care. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any point during treatment.
Because the frequency and duration of psychotherapy are determined by each client’s evolving clinical needs, a Good Faith Estimate is an estimate rather than a guarantee of the final cost of care. It does not require you to receive services from The Collective Healing Center.
Payment Terms
The Collective Healing Center requires a credit card to be kept on file for all clients. All fees are processed through our secure practice management system, Simple Practice, which is HIPAA compliant.
Payment is due at the time of service. Before your first session, you will receive an invitation to set up your payment account and complete all necessary intake documentation via our secure portal.
