Lindsay Betz

Master's Level Counseling Intern

Lindsay is an intern with The Collective Healing Center, practicing under the supervision of Dr. Courtney Glickman. Lindsay has experience working with children, youth, and women in a variety of group and individual settings. She offers play, expressive, nature-based and holistic services related to trauma, children’s issues, women’s issues, spirituality, mood and anxiety disorders, and interpersonal challenges.

In addition to interning, Lindsay works with midshipmen at the Naval Academy through mentoring. She also teaches yoga for those who serve in the police and/or military.

Lindsay aligns with person-centered theoretical principles of being genuine, unconditionally accepting others, and empathizing deeply. Her goal in working with others, no matter the context, is to meet them where they are, devise goals, and collaboratively meet those goals.

Lindsay holds a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature and Composition from Salisbury University. After nearly 10 years of working in academia and writing, Lindsay felt a clear call to shift toward counseling. She has completed the necessary coursework in Clinical Counseling through Liberty University and is ready and excited to move into clinical practice. She is very thankful to join the team at The Collective Healing Center.
