Work with Kendall

Kendall's Healing Philosophy

Kendall provides a warm, accepting environment where children, adolescents, and young adults can feel secure, respected, and understood. She recognizes that every client communicates, processes emotions, and experiences the world differently. Her goal is to meet clients where they are while helping them explore their authentic selves, recognize their strengths, and develop skills that feel meaningful and useful in their everyday lives.

Kendall has experience supporting neurodivergent children and young adults, including individuals with ADHD and autism. She also works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and interpersonal challenges. Her approach is affirming, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s developmental needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

Grounded in person-centered and attachment-based principles, Kendall prioritizes the therapeutic relationship as an important foundation for growth. She strives to understand what may be underneath a client’s behavior or emotional response while creating space for clients to feel accepted rather than judged.

Kendall thoughtfully incorporates play therapy, sand tray, nature-based activities, and mindfulness into her work. These approaches offer clients different ways to communicate, explore feelings, practice new skills, and work through challenges without relying solely on conversation. She believes creativity and connection can make therapy feel more accessible and engaging, particularly for children and neurodivergent clients.

Her professional experience includes providing individual and group therapeutic services, as well as working in educational settings. These experiences have strengthened her appreciation for the ways relationships, learning environments, and individual differences can influence a young person’s emotional well-being.

Kendall earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Jacksonville University and is completing her master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. She is a master’s-level counseling intern practicing under the clinical supervision of Dr. Courtney Glickman.
